Two killed in highway mishap

RAJKOT: Two people were killed and 10 were injured when a truck rammed a parked autorickshaw Amreli on the Babra-Charkha highway. The truck driver has fled.
Ramesh Japadiya of Vatasar in Surendranagar district had recently been blessed with a son and was going to Sattadhar with family to perform religious rituals. They reached Babra around 4 am in a hired autorickshaw.Sattabhai, the driver, parked the vehicle near a hotel and went inside to ask about the route when a truck rammed it. Naran Makwana, 60, and Laghra Bhimai, 70, were killed on the spot while ten were injured.
